Powershell: Auslesen von Device Name, MAC Adress und Device Collection aus der PVS Datenbank
Um bestehende End-Systeme aus einer Provisioning Server Umgebung auszulesen, damit man diese in Empirum importieren kann, kann das folgende PowerShell Skript verwendet.
Dieses Skript liest den PC Namen, die Mac Adresse und die Device Collection eines jeden End-Systems aus und schreibt diese Kommagetrennt in eine Ausgabedatei. Diese Meldung ist beim Ändern des Access Mode und Cache Types einer zuvor importierten VHD in einen PVS Store aufgetreten. Dem Store gehören hier mehr als ein Server an.

XenApp Installation mit dem System Account bringt bei dem mps.msi Installer Error 1603
Wenn XenApp 6.x über eine Verteilsoftware mit dem System Account installiert wird, kann es vorkommen, dass die mps.msi Installation mit einem Event-Log Error 1603 abgebrochen wird.
Citrix prüft vor der eigentlichen XenApp Installation, ob der Installationsbenutzer genügend Rechte auf dem entsprechenden Zielsystem hat. Es kann vorkommen, das sich in einer Xenapp 6.5 Umgebung veröffentlichte Anwendungen nicht starten lassen. Ein veröffentlichter Desktop funktioniert einwandfrei.
Beim Versuch eine veröffentlichte Anwendung zu starten erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung:
